Advanced Monitoring & Sterilization
We do everything possible to ensure your complete safety. During your sedation dentistry appointment, we’ll use advanced digital pulse oximetry and a comfort cuff to continually monitor blood pressure and respiration. All of our dental instruments are heat-sterilized in an autoclave after each use, and we use disposal items whenever possible. From our sterile storage areas to our spotless reception area, you’ll feel comfortable with our high standards of safety and cleanliness. 

Digital X-Ray
Digital X-rays offer many advantages over traditional radiography. They emit 90% less radiation, require no harsh developing chemicals, and can be electronically transmitted to specialists and insurance companies. Plus, there are no uncomfortable trays to bite down on. Instead, we’ll place a small sensor inside your mouth to instantly obtain detailed images of your teeth and supporting structures. You and Dr. Clemans can review your digital X-rays on a conveniently located chairside monitor so that you can see problems for yourself and become a co-partner in treatment planning. Digital X-rays help you become more informed about your own dental health. 

Intraoral Cameras & Chairside Monitors
With a camera the size of a pen, we can view the inside of your mouth more effectively than ever before. The close-up view makes it possible to see small cracks and decay not visible during a visual exam. Plus, Dr. Clemans can detect damage caused by the expansion and contraction of old, metal fillings. We’ll project the images onto a chairside monitor so that you can see them, too. Our intraoral camera is a great educational tool to help you make informed decisions. 

The Wand
If you’re apprehensive about injections, you’ll love the Wand. This high-tech tool administers computer-controlled anesthesia delivery. The Wand can be positioned more accurately than a syringe and lets us numb an area to be treated without discomfort. The rate of anesthesia is controlled at a constant rate of pressure, below the threshold of pain. Numbing occurs more quickly, and the lingering numbness of tongue, lips, and face is eliminated.

Precision Planning
When you decide to undergo dental treatment, Dr. Clemans takes the time to make certain your results are exactly what she planned and you expect. She makes careful measurements that produce predictable, long-term results and lasting satisfaction. The facebow is a tool that measures jaw joint/bite relationship and helps ensure that restorations will withstand the powerful forces of chewing. We also use digital photography to give our dental lab precise information about esthetic enhancements and dental restorations.
