The First Step to a Fantastic Smile!

Thank you for choosing Elite Dentistry for your oral healthcare needs. We’ll reserve an hour and a half for your new patient visit. Because we like to get to know our patients, your appointment will begin with a short interview to discuss medical history and specific concerns and a review of your new patient forms. We’ll want to know about your past dental experiences so that we can make your time with us comfortable, positive, and successful. Dr. Clemans and our team will customize your care and address your unique needs with compassion and respect.

Your Comprehensive Exam
We’ll take any necessary X-rays with a digital radiograph that emits 90% less radiation than traditional X-ray technology. Dr. Clemans will review the images with you, then examine all aspects of your smile, including:

• Laser cavity detection with DIAGNOdent
• An assessment of periodontal (gum) health
• An evaluation of bone structure and jaw joint function
• An oral cancer screening
• A bite evaluation
• A cosmetic evaluation
• Breath analysis

With your permission, we’ll take photos of your smile for documentation, illustration, and communication purposes.

Findings Review & Treatment Planning
Dr. Clemans will conclude your appointment with a review of her findings and treatment recommendations to address your specific goals and concerns. She’ll answer all of your questions, and you can discuss financial options with our Treatment Coordinator. Our “no surprise” policy ensures that patients receive all fee information prior to beginning treatment. If you have extensive dental needs, a second appointment may be scheduled to discuss treatment options and financial arrangements.
