Kay – Dental Assistant

A native of Cobb County, Kay has been assisting for 20 years and has won the DCA Presidents Award of Excellence four years in a row. She loves the support that everyone shares for each other at our Marietta office and shares our common goal of giving every one of our patients the absolute best care that we can. Helping patients achieve their optimal oral health and watching them leave their appointment with a beautiful smile on their face is one of the greatest benefits of dental assisting.

Outside of the office, Kay loves sharing time with her family, her best friend and partner Eugene, and their pets, a sweet Golden Retriever named Goldie and their rescue cats, Nala and Lamar. Her hobbies including hiking, rafting, skiing, gardening, home improve projects, and cooking.

Mitzi – Registered Dental Hygienist

Mitzi Returns! Our long time hygiene has returned to work with us on Fridays. She was with us for a number of years and moved with her boyfriend to Las Vegas. Mitzi has now returned and eager to see old familiar and new faces.

If you have never met Mitzi, you will enjoy meeting her. Mitzi loves what she does in providing personalized hygiene service for all her patients. Mitzi welcomes her patients to be an active participant in their oral health. She will take her time with you to get to know you and your wishes. Mitzi will help you to understand the importance of good oral health through education and communication. Together, you and she will develop a plan for a healthy mouth for a life time

Since 1987, Mitzi has worked in the dental field. She started out as a chairside assistant. This gave her the background and sound understanding of the dental field. Her love for the field further inspired her to return to school and graduate with a dental hygiene degree in 1997 from Gainesville College and Lanier Tech in Gainesville, GA

Mitzi takes pride in meeting the daily challenges of her work and enjoys working with people. With Mitzi, you will get the individual personal attention you deserve. She stays abreast on the new and current dental technology and focuses heavily on continuing education so she can bring you the best of care.

When Mitzi is not working, some of her favorite ways to relax are reading, teaching yoga, gardening and just talking with friends. She looks forward to seeing you each and every visit. You will immediately feel comfortable with her smiling, warm welcome each time she sees you.

Monica – Certified Dental Assistant/Technician

For 16 years, Monica has made dental patients smile! She loves being a part of our team, caring for our wonderful patients, and knowing that her job is to make people feel good. Monica earned a certificate in implant lab fabrication from Nobel Biocare, as well as certification in pressed ceramics, tooth anatomy, morphology, custom staining, and shade selection. She is past president of the Ohio Dental Lab Association, a position she held for two years.

In her free time, Monica enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Benjamin, and their son, Benjamin Jr., and daughter, Mina Lynne. Yoga and martial arts keep Monica fit, and she earned her black belt in 1997.

Nicole – Front Office Administrator

Originally from the Atlanta area, Nicole relocated to the area when she became engaged. She thoroughly enjoys being part of our team and appreciates the soothing, clinically precise dental care we provide to each of our patients. Nicole fell in love with the dental field because every day, she has a new experience helping improve patients’ lives.

After hours, she enjoys BBQs, ski trips, and going to the beach. Her passion is music, though. She attends concerts all over the country and performs with a band. She and her husband were married in October 2010 and are the proud parents of a miniature long-haired dachshund named Chance.
