 Sedation/Total Comfort Dentistry
Dr.
Clemans is certified and extensively trained in oral sedation. She utilizes
the latest technology and comfort enhancing treatments along with a
simple pill to give her patients relaxing and worry-free dental care.
Dr Clemans has recently gotten her IV certification for the state of
Georgia and is one of the few dentists in the area qualified to do IV
sedation for general dentistry. Sedation dentistry allows her to complete
extensive treatment in one visit, to make esthetic dentistry her emphasis
and to successfully treat the apprehensive patient. She is a member
of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

Number, 3 credit hours
- 10/12-13/2001: DOCS in Wash DC, Michael Silverman, Oral Sedation,
15 credit hours
- 11/8-10/2002: DOCS in Philadelphia, PA, Michael Silverman,
20 Hour Conscious Sedation Course, 20 credit hours
- 7/27/2002: GDA in Amelia Is., FL, Mel Hawkins, DDS, Oral
Conscious Sedation, 4 credit hours
- April –June 2004: IV Sedation Mini Residency at the
University of Alabama School of Dentistry
- 2004: Received Fellowship standing in the Dental Organization
for Conscious Sedation (FDOCS). One of only a few in the US.
- November 2004: Completed the course Adult Conscious Sedation
here in Atlanta. This course was 16 hours.
