care and education, we also employ various therapies to keep the leading
cause of tooth loss in adults from taking your teeth. Gum or Periodontal
disease affects seven out of ten Americans and many don't even realize
they have it.
We use many modern non-surgical periodontal therapies. To control advanced
cases of gum disease, we employ the Arestin Powder. This powder, filled with
a substance that kills bacteria, is inserted into the gum pocket and
continues to kill bacteria for 28 days after you leave our office. It
dissolves on its own so you don’t need to return to the office
for removal.
