Ruth H. Clemans, DDS

Dr. Clemans provides exemplary dentistry using modern technology and masterful skills in a respectful and caring manner. She delivers full-service dental care with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, and sedation dentistry. Her goal is to exceed your expectations by providing customized care, taking the time to get to know you and understand your unique goals and concerns, and delivering a beautiful smile and lasting oral health.

As a certified sedation dentist, Dr. Clemans enjoys the opportunity to help anxious patients receive the quality dentistry they deserve. She’s created a warm, inviting atmosphere where patients can relax and receive compassionate care for life-changing smiles.

Education
Dr. Clemans graduated with high honors from Okemos High School in East Lansing, Michigan in 1978. She received her BA from Miami University in Ohio in 1982 and graduated in the top 15% of her class from Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1986. Dr. Clemans completed a general practice residency in advanced general dentistry at Emory University in conjunction with the Marietta Veteran’s Administration Medical Center and Grady Memorial Hospital in 1987. After receiving her dental degree, Dr. Clemans entered private practice in the Marietta area.

Her continuing education focuses on sedation, communication, restorative dentistry, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Clemans completed the Medical College of Georgia/American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi-Course Comprehensive Training Program in Implant Dentistry presented at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and Marietta Institute of Advanced Education. Dr. Clemans completed her IV Sedation training in 2004 at the University of Alabama, College of Dentistry, Birmingham.

Family Life and Community Outreach
Dr. Clemans resides in Marietta with her two girls. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, movies, walks, hikes, boating, and time with her children.

A connection with the community is very important to Dr. Clemans. She is a member of Temple Kol Emeth and has volunteered with the infertility group, Resolve of Georgia, as well as the local Girl Scouts organization, East Cobb Community Dental Facility, YMCA, and Smiles for Life.
